Hans and Dini Louwerse
- Hans and Dini Louwerse have dedicated their lives to improving the well-being of those living with Parkinson’s since 2014. Recognizing the need for movement-based therapies tailored to Parkinson’s, they brought Rock Steady Boxing Ede in the Netherlands in 2016, fostering a movement of hope, resilience, and empowerment that continues to inspire individuals and the broader Parkinson’s community.
- Their vision is evident in training 220 fitness professionals across the Netherlands to deliver boxing for Parkinson’s at more than 100 locations. Additionally, they train international Rock Steady Boxing coaches, helping expand the program globally. Hans and Dini actively raise awareness about Parkinson’s, organizing clinics and workshops, and collaborating with Parkinson’s organizations across Europe. Their passion and dedication have played a vital role in bringing innovative Parkinson’s care to individuals across multiple countries.
