Scott Newman

Scott Newman founded Rock Steady Boxing in 2006. After a diagnosis of Parkinson disease at the age of 40, Scott started exercising with a boxer’s training program and noticed significant improvement in his PD symptoms. This class and curriculum served as the basis for what is now Rock Steady Boxing which has trained over 4000 coaches and developed 800+ locations located in every state in the US and 14 countries around the world. It is estimated that 40,000-60,000 people with Parkinson disease participate in Rock Steady classes every week.
